AAA Police Supply Boycott

I'm very glad to hear that AAA's well deserved terrible reputation is preceding them. I of course had the wonderful experience of being told that I wasn't a full time law enforcement officer, and therefore could not purchase a blue line identifier. Perhaps that they only accept cash and make you feel about as welcome as rug burn when you come in has something to do with the fact that no one has a good story to tell about them. MHQ in West Roxbury and Andreas in Quincy are much friendlier, knowledgeable about the supplies they sell, and like other stores with 20th century technology, will accept credit and debit.

Hi All,
Just a quick note to let everyone know that AAA Police supply located in Dedham, Mass are no friends of ours. They DO NOT consider Correction Officers to be legitimate "Law Enforcement officers". Just try purchasing a Blue Line Identifier for example. They won't sell one to you! Show AAA police supply that WE don't need them by NOT shopping there!

Thank You.
Tom Curran

They don't view Correction Officers as legitimate Law Enforcement. Maybe they should try to get Joe Freedman's name off of the NATIONAL LAW ENFORCEMENT MEMORIAL.

As they would not sell a blue line identifier to one of our officers because you don’t consider the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department or Corrections  legitimate Law enforcement agencies. We are taking note and recommending our officers do not buy merchandise from their store. Call them up and let them know how you feel

(781)-326-8845.

Their e-mail doesn't work!

Maybe someone should send an email to the Norfolk County Sheriff's Department's C/O Union about AAA Supply in Dedham as they spend a lot of money there and go there very frequently.

Pat McCrave

Hey everyone,

Use the sites below for your blue line identifiers - I've dealt with them for years and they both have great products and quick shipping! They have a good variety of different Law Enforcement products too.

This website is the owner of the thin blue line registered trademark - go straight to the source and cut out the disrespectful thieves (I mean middle man)!!! They don't have as many products as the next site below, but they're the original Trademark.

You don't need to send any I.D. to this company or log in, they work sales off police websites and word of mouth.

Please feel free to pass on to all my Brothers and Sisters Hope all is well and watch your backs,

Danny,

I'll forward this information to friends that work for the DOC, and for other counties. F**k them, sitting behind a counter passing judgment on us.

I am a full time police officer working for a municipality.  My best friend is employed as a Suffolk County Deputy.  This whole thing with AAA is idiotic.  Members of your union should do a little more then boycott them.  How about a letter to that law enforcement newspaper that is published in Cambridge, Law Enforcement News is it?  I have done business with AAA for last eight years and then some.  While I have never had problems with Mark or several other of his staff, I did have a very unpleasant experience there with one of employees just a week ago on 6/20/2005.  This individual snapped at me when I attempted to ask him a question regarding of the Law Update books, to make matters even worse he did this in front of my daughter.  Some people who retire, should stay retired and not deal with the public.  This unpleasant experience coupled with what AAA thinks of my brothers working in Corrections, AAA gets no more of my money or my clothing allowance.  It's too bad, it used to be a nice place to shop.

I also had a run in with that little old troll behind the desk at the AAA police supply a couple years ago. When I became a Licensed Constable  in the City of Boston we had to produce or wear a Constable badge to the Defendants we served. Well, little did I know that I was going to get in a heated argument when I asked that little troll if he had Constable Badges in stock. He told me they did and also told me that he was a Constable so as he showed me what they had in stock I was shocked to learn that their Constable Badges were Gold so I asked him politely if he had the Silver Constable badges in stock what a mistake that was!!! The troll told me "No we sell the Gold ones now no longer the Silver Badges" I kept my calm and asked the troll a question very politely and said to him "Sir are you a Cop or a Former Retired Police Officer" very arrogantly he told me No and flashed me his Gold Constable Badge and told me this is what we wear and sell here now. Well, at that time my girlfriend who was buying merchandise from them could see that I was losing my cool with this troll and told me don't even bother with that asshole. I told her fine although I have one statement to make before I leave. I told and called that troll a Fu**ing fat little bastard who doesn't deserve to wear any kind of Badge specifically a Gold one and that he should be ashamed of himself because as a Law enforcement Officer myself at the time, I told him there are many other Law Enforcement Officers in this State who work hard at what they do in the performance of their duties just to be honored with a Gold Badge and told him not to abuse your Gold Constable Badge Asshole cause to me your just a Fu**ing mailman and also told him your like an automobile parts guy who thinks he knows a fu**ing thing about cars. Well, guess what  neither my girlfriend and I got what we wanted at AAA that day, although we did go to another Police supply and we both got what we wanted and I got my Silver Constable Badge. Keep up the good work guys & girls and "F" AAA. See you all soon especially when Justice prevails and the "Truth" does come out on that certain Political Person as for now be safe.

Exactly. Who do these people think they are. They sit behind a desk and do nothing all day. Take your business elsewhere. The whole store sniffs.
